Shimge pressure vessel/Expansion tank

Expansion vessels or pressure vessels as they are sometimes called are used to store water under pressure to reduce the on/off cycling of electric powered pumps.

Water pressure tanks are suitable for booster systems, thermal expansion, irrigation systems, and hydraulic hammer arresting.

Shimge vessels are fixed single membrane pressure vessels constructed with a virgin polypropylene liner combined with an FDA approved high grade butyl diaphragm. This is held against the wall of the tank with a steel clench ring. Water enters the pressure tank through the corrosion resistant stainless steel water connection.
